Professional MBA

The Professional MBA program is designed for working professionals who want to earn an MBA without interrupting their lives.  This graduate program will prepare students for the next level of their career.

Masters in Education (M.Ed.)

Educating outstanding teachers has been a core of the MCLA mission since our founding, as the North Adams Normal School, in 1894. The graduate program in education will prepare students for leadership as a master teacher, specialist, administrator, policy maker, or other education professional.

Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in Educational Leadership

This program (CAGS in Massachusetts, CAS in New York State) benefits teachers, administrators, and other education professionals who wish to develop and expand their skills beyond the master's level in their field.

Graduate Degrees at MCLA 

MCLA offers two masters degree programs; a Professional Masters in Business Administration and a Masters in Education (M.Ed.).  We also offer a Leadership Academy for School Administration  and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) both Education. 

These programs are founded in current academic research while grounded in field-based practicality.  Our experienced professional faculty are dedicated to instructional excellence and deliver their courses in formats that meet the needs of busy professionals like you.

February 3: Applications available on the table outside of the Education Department for students planning on student teaching in the Fall 2012 semester.

February 27: Deadline for Professional Semester Applications

March 5-9: Interviews for Professional Semester, appointment required

March 19: Mid-term evaluations mailed to cooperating teachers of pre practicum students

March 21-April 6: Advising with Education Department Faculty, signup sheets in the Education Department

April 6: Deadline for Mid-term Evaluations

April 9-April 20: Registration for Fall 2012 Semester

April 23: Final Evaluations mailed to cooperating teachers of pre practicum students

May 11: Deadline for Final Evaluations
