Professional MBA

MBA

The MCLA Professional MBA program offers an in-depth business education that is broad-based and multidisciplinary.  This is an accelerated program requiring 45 credits of graduate business courses.  Credit waivers may be available for those students who already possess an undergraduate business degree.

The program combines the strengths of MCLA business faculty at the doctoral and Professional MBA levels with those of practicing managers actively involved in the day-to-day decision making in the field.

Courses include a blend of classroom experience and practical, hands-on fieldwork.  In addition, the program puts students in contact with renowned faculty and diverse academic programming, and provides a high return on investment.

What To Expect

Designed as a part-time program to meet the needs of the working adult learner, most of the courses will meet through a combination of online and face-to-face instruction.  Students will take one course at a time for the duration of the program.

The program will meet in a cohort model, which will provide the support and motivation of a cohesive team with a shared set of goals. Students will be strongly connected to the program and their fellow participants as well as to their faculty.

"We are proud to add the Professional MBA program to MCLA's many distinguished offerings. This new program will prepare graduates to fill important roles in the business community throughout the Berkshires and beyond."

Mary K. Grant Ph.D., President MCLA

"As a husband, father of four, and a multi-unit manager for a specialty retailer, my time is more than limited-it is almost nonexistent. I expect the once-a-week model to fit into my busy schedule."
