Leadership Academy - Summer 2013
Thank you for your interest in MCLA's 2013 Leadership Academy cohort, which we plan to offer under the new Massachusetts licensure regulations. We are excited about the next iteration of this compelling program, which will run July 8-22. Please review the information and links on this page that describe the program's requirements and costs.
MCLA is moving forward with our administrative licensure program while we pursue formal approval from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. We appreciate your patience as MCLA, and all other Massachusetts institutions seeking approval, await confirmation from the state that our program can proceed. The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (ESE) has encouraged all programs seeking approval to convey to candidates that there is a slight risk that the program may not be approved, courses may need to be retaken, and that certain facets of the program may be changed. We are confident that our innovative, practitioner-focused Leadership Academy program will be approved as outlined.
We also understand that the fact that approval is not yet final, however, we will do everything in our power to secure program approval and to provide a compelling Leadership Academy experience for students.
