Dr. Scott came to MCLA from William Paterson University, where she served as an assistant professor with the Department of Early Childhood and Elementary Education since 2001. Prior to that, she was founder and coordinator of The Mentor Program for bilingual adult learners at Holyoke Community College from 1993-2001. Dr. Scott developed the Reading Specialist Program at MCLA and teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in literacy and multicultural education.
