Four Professors Granted Tenure
Appointments to begin in fall
Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) has announced the tenure appointments of four professors, which recently were approved unanimously by the MCLA Board of Trustees. They are as follows:
David Eve, an assistant professor in computer science, has been with MCLA since 2005. He received an Ed.D. in leadership and administration and an M.Ed. in secondary sciences from UMASS-Amherst and a Bachelor of Arts degree in geology from the College of Wooster, in Wooster, Ohio.
Paul O. Nnodim, an assistant professor in philosophy, has been with the College since 2004. He earned a Ph.D. in philosophy, English studies and American studies from Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany and a Bachelor of Philosophy degree from Pontifical Urbanian University in Rome, Italy.
Dawn C. Shamburger, an assistant professor in fine and performing arts, has been with MCLA since 2004. She earned a Masters of Fine Arts in theatre design from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, La.
Christopher Thomas, an assistant professor of mathematics, has been with the College since 2004. He earned a Ph.D. from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Science degree from UMASS-Amherst.
