and Government Databases
To access OneSearch, EBSCOhost, InfoTrac, Massachusetts Newsstand and LexisNexis Academic from off campus: Use your MCLANET login ID and password. This is the same information you use to log in to the college network and to your FirstClass account.
OneSearch
OneSearch allows members of the MCLA community to search multiple databases from different vendors at the same time. You can also find out if the full text of a journal is available in any of these databases, using Journals A-Z. For more information on OneSearch, click here.
EBSCOhost
We currently subscribe to 20 databases through EBSCOhost. Some include both indexing to articles in journals and the articles themselves (Academic Search Premier, PsycARTICLES, Communication and Mass Media), others include only indexing and a brief description (PsycInfo, ERIC. MLA International Bibliography). While Academic Search Premier indexes over 8,000 journals (and full text for over 4,500) in a wide range of subject areas, other EBSCO databases are limited to health, business or education.
