MCLA 'Green Living' Seminar to Focus on a Vision for New England's Food System
NORTH ADAMS, MASS. - This semester's "Green Living" seminars at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) will continue on Thursday, Feb. 6, at 5:30 p.m. in Murdock 218 with "Policies for the Future of New England's Food System," to be presented by Margaret Sova McCabe, a professor of law at the University of New Hampshire.
The event is free and open to the public.
In this lecture, McCabe will describe the vision that is being developed for the future of New England's food system, as well as the policies needed to support this vision.
The aim of this series, "Cultivating a Sustainable Food System," is to inform both students and community members about strategies for realizing a more secure and sustainable food system in our region.
The 2014 Green Living Seminar series is a presentation of MCLA's Berkshire Environmental Resource Center and the MCLA Environmental Studies Department. It will continue on Thursdays through April 24.
