MCLA Summer College Offers Students A Jump Start on Fall Semester
NORTH ADAMS, MASS. -Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) will offer two summer college sessions this year, May 24 - July 1 and July 6 - August 12.
MCLA offers a variety of science courses in its summer lineup that are designed for students returning to the area for the summer from their full-time college. These courses apply to MCLA and are transferable to other colleges.
"I am pleased to see that I can fulfill my laboratory science requirement in six weeks this summer by taking a physics course and transferring it back to my college" said Chris Milanesi, a local student who attends college in Springfield.
"MCLA has made it convenient," Milanesi continued. "I can work full time this summer and still manage to get a little ahead by fulfilling my science requirement - this will really help to lighten my load in the fall."
In addition to the full assortment of science courses, MCLA offers a variety of undergraduate courses in numerous disciplines including American history, statistics, calculus, economics, Spanish, and philosophy to name a few. MCLA also offers graduate education courses during the summer. For a complete listing of MCLA's summer offerings visit www.mcla.edu/summer .
