BCRC Projects: In partnership with the city of North Adams, MASS MoCA, Northern Berkshire Community Coalition and Scarafoni Realty, the Berkshire Cultural Resource Center embarked on the DownStreet Art project. Opening four new gallery spaces from June 26 to October 31 and creating the first ever art map for the city of North Adams, DownStreet Art highlights the city's abundance of art fro all to celebrate. The new gallery spaces include: - Maya III, an installation by artist Jarvis Rockwell
- Primary / Secondary: Volumes 1 & 2, an exhibition of the art by the Sol LeWitt draftspeople
- Lumens, an interactive light installation project of "Networked Realities: (Re)Connecting the Adamses," with MCLA Gallery 51, Greylock Arts, and Turbulence
- The North Adams Artists' Cooperative Gallery
Assets for Artists  Under the umbrella of Berkshire Creative, MASS MoCA, Pittsfield's Office of Cultural Development, and the Berkshire Cultural Resource Center launched Assets for Artists. This pilot initiative is aimed at helping artists throughout Berkshire County who wish to become home owners and/or receive small business training and assistance. Training sessions-- custom designed for artists-- will be offered on both home ownership and business management. Financial assistance via individual development accounts will be available for nine low- to moderate-income artists.
