Lisa Koryushkina received her PhD in Anthropology at Brown University. A demographic anthropologist by training, she works on issues of migration, citizenship, social change and nationalism in Russia and Central Asia. She directed a research project on refugee resettlement in the USA and conducted fieldwork in Russia. She has published her work in Ethnology, Nationalities Papers, Journal of Anthropological Research, and several edited volumes.
