Student Media — Your Real-World Training Ground

MCLA Spires cover

Spires is MCLA’s student-run literary arts magazine. Students edit, design, and publish both digital and print editions, working with creative writing and visual content.

WJJW logo

WJJW is MCLA’s FCC-licensed, non-commercial educational radio station broadcasting at 91.1 FM. Students create and host programming, manage shows, and produce audio content using tools such as Adobe Audition. The station also streams online.

The Beacon logo

The Beacon is MCLA’s weekly student newspaper. Students report, write, edit, and publish stories, with opportunities to contribute through coursework or independent involvement.
