MCLA offers many options for all students to build a strong, supportive College community that's critical to individual and group achievement. The Multicultural Education Resource Center encourages cross-cultural relations, student empowerment, and leadership especially for ALANA, international, and veteran students. Connecting students with successful peers, faculty, and community members helps students envision and realize their goals. The Center also promotes access to College and other resources, benefits, scholarships, careers development, and graduate programs.
The Center collaborates with our ALANA and other clubs and departments to enhance College programs, activities, and services that engage all and especially unrepresented students. Together we work to enlighten the MCLA and local community about the value and contributions of many cultures and perspectives.
