Overview
Leadership Conference 2025 is the culminating experience for the Leadership Academy
2024 cohort. The conference is open and free to all educators. The 2025 conference
will be held in person in Bowman Hall on MCLA’s campus in North Adams, and remote
access is available for all sessions.
Keynote Sessions
Dr. Darcy Fernandes, MA DESE Senior Associate Commissioner will open the conference at 6:30 p.m. on July 6 in Murdock Hall, Room 218.
Brendan Sheran, Berk12 Project Facilitator will speak about the Portrait of A Graduate initiative, Monday July 7, 6:30 - 8:30 pm in Murdock Hall, Room 218.
Leadership Conference Sessions
Concurrent conference sessions will be presented by members of the Leadership Academy 2024 cohort. Topics range from leading inclusive schools to implementing instructional programs that enhance success for all. Sessions address one or more of the four leadership standards established by Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s (MA DESE) Professional Standards for Administrator Leadership (PSAL):

- Family and Community Engagement
- Professional Culture
