MCLA's four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program equips you with the comprehensive knowledge and practical experience to pass the licensure exam and take the next step in your career.
We need more registered nurses in the world. That's why we've launched the first Bachelor
of Science in Nursing program in Berkshire County — to help address the current and
future nursing workforce shortage. With a curriculum that integrates the liberal arts
strengths of MCLA and the rigorous theoretical and clinical courses, our program sets
up graduates to thrive in the nursing profession in Massachusetts, and everywhere
nursing care is needed.

Our nursing program prepares graduates to tackle the National Council Licensing Examination in Nursing for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN), a critical and required credential for nursing practice. Our curriculum develops well-rounded graduates with expansive knowledge to help care for, relate to, and make a difference in patients' lives. Our program also provides a strong foundation to pursue graduate study in advanced nursing practice roles.
Our curriculum integrates MCLA’s strong liberal arts foundation in the humanities, natural and social sciences with theoretical and clinical courses in professional nursing, guided by the Quality and Safety Education in Nursing (QSEN) Core Competencies.
