The Green Dot program is a nationally recognized bystander intervention initiative aimed at reducing sexual and dating violence and fostering a culture of respect on campus.
Green Dots represent everyday choices to prevent harm—whether by stepping in during
a concerning situation, starting a conversation with a peer, or modeling respectful
behavior. When more people choose Green Dots over inaction, we move toward a safer,
more caring community.
The Green Dot Commitee at MCLA is made up of staff and faculty across departments who coordinate programming throughout the year. We are eager to collaborate with all kinds of campus groups (including but not limited to student leadership, athletic teams, and classes) to bring a Green Dot workshop to you!
Contact wellness@mcla.edu for more information, to schedule a workshop, or to inquire about joining the Green Dot committee.
