MCLA Student Government

The Student Government is the representative body of students at MCLA that oversees and funds over 40 campus clubs and organizations and gives students a voice with the college administration while advocating for positive change on campus.

The Student Government consists of Senators, an Executive Cabinet, and Class Officers -- all of whom you elect to represent student needs. Since 1909, the Student Government at MCLA has been bringing student concerns to administrators and leading student initiatives.

MCLA Student Government is funded through the Student Activities Tax. Each MCLA student pays an activities fee of $150 per semester into the Student Activities Trust Fund, which the Student Government then allocates to the student body by funding recognized clubs, organizations, and other student-centered activities.
